JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Skills:
· Experience with DB2 system software and related program product software installation, migrations, customization and maintenance.
· Must have experience with SMP/E maintenance utility, DB2 security interfaces, familiar with DB2 connection interfaces (IMS/CICS/DDF/etc) and network VTAM/IP functionality. 
· Requires good problem solving skills. 
· Ability to debug & diagnose Mainframe DB2 system and utility software 
· Requires DB2 SYSPLEX experience and DATASHARING expertise
· Performance analysis & tuning for the DB2 subsystem
· Provide Disaster Recovery planning, documentation, support and execution. 
· The ability to deal with complex problems and issues
· Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work well in a team environment
· Provide a 7/24 service on-call to client
· Must be able to work with staff in a geographically diverse environment.
