Skills:
•Experience with DB2 system software and related program product software installation, migrations, customization and maintenance.
•Must have experience with SMP/E maintenance utility, DB2 security interfaces, familiar with DB2 connection interfaces (IMS/CICS/DDF/etc) and network VTAM/IP functionality.
•Requires good problem solving skills.
•Ability to debug & diagnose Mainframe DB2 system and utility software
•Requires DB2 SYSPLEX experience and DATASHARING expertise
•Performance analysis & tuning for the DB2 subsystem
•Provide Disaster Recovery planning, documentation, support and execution.
•The ability to deal with complex problems and issues
•Clear and concise oral and written communication skills
•Ability to work well in a team environment
•Provide a 24/7 service on-call to client
•Must be able to work with staff in a geographically diverse environment.
